About RTD

RTD Training and Development

RTD was founded by Idris Roker in 1991. The company's aims are to design and develop robust and efficient real-time software systems and to provide quality corporate training.

The company has an excellent track record of successfully completing projects. Clients include leading names from the semiconductor, telecommunications and defence industries.

Idris Roker
B.Sc.(Hons) Ph.D. C.Eng. M.I.E.E. M.B.C.S.

Idris Roker attained a First Class Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bath. He remained at Bath to conduct research into real-time operating systems. He has since gained extensive industrial experience designing and developing real-time systems.

After some years of part-time lecturing at the University of the West of England, Idris moved into corporate training and set up the training arm of RTD.
